You must be passionate about helping people to make change and be able to challenge/support as required.<br><br>The successful candidate will need to have good organisational skills, be able to prioritise workload and be able to use a range of systems for case and data recording.<br><br>This post involves working with a number of professionals and services and the ability to adapt to situations as well as building good relationships is key to this post.<br><br>The duties of the post may require you to work occasional evenings and weekends.<br><br>You must have experience of working with young people and hold a relevant qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) in health, youth work, social work or similar. It’s an exciting time to join us as we develop new policies and transform the way people access services.</p>\n<p><strong>We are immensely proud that when asked what’s great about working for Halton, the most popular response from our workforce has been ‘<em>our colleagues’</em>.</strong> </p>\n<p>This role is office based for a minimum of two days per week.</p>\n<p><strong>Our Team:</strong></p>\n<p>We have an exciting opportunity to join our GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Team within ICT Services at Halton Borough Council as a Systems Analyst.</p>\n<p>This small but dynamic team support GIS development and use across the authority and Planning Systems along with maintenance of the Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG) and delivering ad-hoc training/advice sessions with all levels of staff.</p>\n<p>Our technology stack is constantly evolving but currently includes MapInfo Professional, Idox Uniform, QGIS, CadCorp SIS Web, Safe Software FME (Form & Flow), AutoCAD, PowerBI and Python.</p>\n<p><strong>Your Contributions:</strong></p>\n<p>In this role you will be supported to become a subject matter expert in the fields of GIS and Planning Systems.</p>\n<p>We are looking for a data driven individual who both drives and embraces technological changes and strives to deliver best value through the use of technology. Halton has a varied user base for these systems so flexibility will also be key when responding to ad-hoc information requests or providing advice on the latest innovations in the teams subject specialism.
