As this is a fixed term post the focus of the role will change to meet the needs of the team and there may be opportunities to work in other portfolio areas.             </p>\n<p>You will primarily work as part of the ‘babies, children, young people and families’ team that currently operates across Hampshire and Isle of Wight as well as with the Isle of Wight Family Hubs team, so you will have excellent partnership working and team working skills and experience. The post is full time and fixed term for two years. We are a supportive and friendly team, with a passion for using evidence-based approaches to improve population health and wellbeing and developing our team.</p>\n<p>You will use your talents and experience to coordinate and deliver the final year of the Infant feeding strand of the Family Hubs programme, including oversight of the commissioned elements working with providers and other commissioners responsible for children’s health and prevention services. You will work with the PEACH education consultant and schools to deliver the PEACH programme, awards and network. You will also support suicide prevention and mental health wellbeing partnership working.</p>\n<p><strong>You will be:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>developing and driving forward the delivery plans with progress reported to the delivery Board and Early Help and Family Hubs board for onward reporting to the Department for Education</li>\n<li>working in partnership with all key partners in health, care and the voluntary sector involved in children’s health and wellbeing services and all age mental health services</li>\n<li>commissioning services and managing budgets relevant to the family hubs delivery plan</li>\n<li>Using insights, JSNA and public health strategy to influence action plans</li>\n<li>working with schools to drive forward plans for health in education settings work around PHSE, emotional health and wellbeing, physical activity and health eating</li>\n<li>working at pace to deliver outcomes on time</li>\n<li>working independently and confidently</li>\n<li>using project management tools</li>\n<li>providing assurance to the consultant and management team</li>\n</ul>\n<p>As a dedicated professional, you’ll be aware of the latest developments in your field and you will help us to be innovative, ensuring local practice keeps up to date with best practice. To succeed you’ll also understand the breadth of public policy and be able to work at a population level, translating changes achieved by individuals and communities into health improvement across the community.</p>\n<p>You will be a good communicator and self-starter, able to be organised, good at team working, reporting progress and effective at seeking agreement for decisions.
