A new re-energized team working within Development Management will provide an end to end planning enforcement service. The Inspections Officers are crucial to this, investigating potential breaches of planning control and recommending the right course of action to reach the best outcome. <br> <br>You will need to have an understanding of planning law and be able to interpret plans and drawings, collate accurate information and prepare formal notices and statements. Crucially you will need to be able to handle difficult people effectively, as you will be going out on site investigating complaints.<br> <br>Ideally you will have, or be working towards, a town planning qualification (or related discipline) or have relevant work experience of planning enforcement.
