These vary from small tasks (fixing knee rails, simple fixes within play areas, painting benches or putting up signage) to larger tasks (carrying out building maintenance, boarding up broken doors and windows, erecting seasonal beach huts or taking necessary steps to ensure public safety, such as with fallen trees or vandalised toilets). No two days will ever be the same and your knowledge of Seaford will become second to none, as you get hands on across all of the Town Council’s sites!</p>\n\n<p>You would be a part of the Town Council’s Operations & Facilities team, working closely with your team members to maintain and enhance the Town Council’s assets. The team also includes an Inspector, who carries out inspections of all of the Town Council’s land, properties and assets, and the two of you will work collaboratively to deliver within your roles.  You will also be required to build a good rapport with external contractors – such as electricians or plumbers that are carrying out specialist work – whilst also overseeing their work and handling any snagging issues. Previous experience with using computers is desirable (including Microsoft Office and the internet) but for the right candidate with the right attitude, these skills can be developed.</p>\n\n<p>Due to being a new post, we are seeking someone who has their own van or suitable vehicle that they are willing to use for business purposes.
