In this role you’ll be: </p><ul>\n<li><p>Leading on early help assessments and team around the family meetings to create plans for the children and families we support. </p></li>\n<li><p>Working together with social workers to support children in need, children on child protection plans and children in care.</p></li>\n<li><p>Home and school visits to complete focussed direct work with children & families.  </p></li>\n<li><p>Supporting mediation, crisis prevention, conflict resolution and Life Story work. </p></li>\n<li><p>Supporting on the completion of accurate documentation, reports and records relating to work you do with children, young people and their families </p></li>\n</ul><p>And through all this great work you do, you’ll be supporting children and families, with a restorative practice approach, helping them stay together where possible.  </p><b>The Ideal Candidate</b><br><p>You’ll need to: </p><ul>\n<li><p>Have an NVQ Level 3 related to working with children and families OR relevant experience working with children and families </p></li>\n<li><p>Be flexible with working hours as there will be occasions where evening work may be needed, and some weekend working. </p></li>\n<li><p>Have a current UK driving licence and vehicle </p></li>\n</ul><p>But above all, you’ll bring the desire to work with children and families to give them the right support, at the right time with the aim of keeping families together where it’s safe to do so. </p><p>For an informal chat about this role, please contact Charlotte Christian, Family Practitioner Lead, on either 01902 506160 or email at: <a href=\"mailto:charlotte.christian@staffordshire.gov.uk\">charlotte.christian@staffordshire.gov.uk</a> </p><p>Interviews to be held the week of the 28th April 2025.</p><p><strong>Our Recruitment Process:</strong> We anonymise applications during shortlisting to ensure only relevant information is considered.
