Are you passionate about improving road safety for the people of Staffordshire?
This exciting role sits within a team of road safety professionals who have responsibility for compiling and validating our personal injury collision dataset. We then use this dataset to assist the local highways authority to fulfil our statutory duties to deliver casualty reduction engineering solutions.
Main ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll:
- provide a first-class validation and recording function to support wider road safety delivery by validating complex personal injury collision data supplied by the Police.
- liaise with external stakeholders including Staffordshire Police to ensure we hold a collision dataset that is as accurate and up to date as possible.
- support wider road safety team functions through administrative tasks such as creating reports and answering collisions data queries.
You'll need to:
- have the education or relevant experience to demonstrate excellent data interpretation and recording skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- be an exceptional team player working alongside other professionals to deliver a successful data recording function.
- Have a good standard of computer literacy with the confidence to learn new systems such as GIS mapping systems, spreadsheets and other data recording systems.
- have organisational time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload and deal with competing demands.
- have the skills necessary to perform repetitive data checking functions with efficiency and accuracy.
