About the role
Guildford Borough Council is seeking an Adaptation Surveyor to work within the Community Services team to deliver a client led professional service to customers that need additional support to maintain independence within their own home.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the site management of minor and major adaptations, monitoring and inspecting work, recording progress, handovers and attending contract meetings. Ensuring compliance with contract documents, construction regulations and best practice and providing technical guidance and assistance to the Adaptations team
About you
If you can work to a high standard, along with being self-motivated to delivery high quality services across a variety of tasks and duties and have an ambitious outlook in consistently improving and driving service offering to our tenants, then you have found the right role.
You will be working closely with our in-house Occupational Therapists and other professionals in our adaptations team to determine the exact alterations that need to be made to the property. You will be responsible for overseeing adaptation projects, working with contractors to ensure high standards of health & safety and the delivery of high-quality adaptations in a timely manner.
