We’re looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join our Development Management team as a Senior Compliance and Enforcement Officer.
In this key role, you’ll investigate breaches of planning control, negotiate solutions, and take formal enforcement action where needed. You’ll carry out site visits, provide planning advice, prepare reports and legal notices, and represent the Council at appeals and in court.
You’ll need strong knowledge of planning law, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to manage complex enforcement cases. In return, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a proactive, effective planning service across the district.
