We also have a Forest School, where children can develop their outdoor skills, creativity, and resilience. The successful candidate will support the Nursery Manager in the daily operations, ensuring high standards of care, education, and safeguarding, while fostering an environment that feels like a home away from home for our children.

Why the children love it:
- Nature-filled learning: Our wrap-around garden, fields, and Forest School provide endless opportunities for outdoor play and discovery.
- Exploration & creativity: The children are encouraged to explore their natural surroundings, develop a love for the outdoors, and immerse themselves in hands-on activities.
- A place to grow: With a focus on holistic development, children are inspired to grow in confidence, independence, and social skills in a supportive and stimulating environment.
Why it’s a special place to work:
- Team spirit: We are a friendly, supportive, and close-knit team where everyone’s input is valued.
- Fantastic facilities: Our state-of-the-art, purpose-built setting offers a modern, inspiring environment for both children and staff.
- Focus on wellbeing: We understand the importance of work-life balance and provide staff with a supportive environment to thrive in their roles.
- Room to grow: As a growing nursery, we offer opportunities for career progression and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing the daily running of the nursery.
- Support staff development and training to ensure high-quality childcare and education.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.

- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity and exploration.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through open communication and a warm, friendly approach.
- Act as the Manager in their absence.
Personal Criteria:
- Friendly, approachable, and caring personality with a genuine passion for working with children.
- Excellent communicator who can build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
- Energetic, adaptable, and able to bring a fun and creative approach to early years education.
- Calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Professional and approachable demeanour with a focus on maintaining a supportive and positive work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:

- Strong knowledge of early years curriculum and safeguarding practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Additional Benefits:
- Longevity Bonus: £200 after 2 years of service, £500 after 5 years of service.
