While we’ve achieved a lot there’s still much to do so it’s the perfect time to be joining us.</p>\n<p><strong>Principal Officer (Environmental Health, Housing & Licensing) </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Work Base: Buxton and Leek Agile working  </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Full time (37 hours per week) </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Permanent position </strong></p>\n<p><strong>£49,764- £53,758 per annum</strong></p>\n<p><strong>(plus</strong><strong> essential car user) </strong></p>\n<p>The Environmental Health and Licensing Department are seeking a forward thinking, motivated and passionate individual to join their strong team to make a difference to our residents and visitors.</p>\n<p>If you have the necessary, drive and determination to succeed and want to be part of our dynamic team you will need to be able to demonstrate that you can</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Direct and lead the Housing, Licensing & General Environmental Health teams.</li>\n<li>Act as lead specialist for Housing, with the opportunity to upskill in the Licensing and General EHealth Department</li>\n<li>Assist the Head of Environmental Health with the development of all aspects of the Council’s service.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The successful candidate will have experience in the day-to-day supervision and mentoring of staff in the service, directing resources where required to provide a seamless service to customers and achieve measurable results to deliver the authorities performance indicators.
