Ensuring effective monitoring and data recording.</li>\n<li>Assisting in the development and delivery of health and safety training and supporting our Health and Safety Co-ordinators across the organisation.</li>\n<li>Contributing to the Council's Health and Safety guidance ensuring this is regularly reviewed and updated.</li>\n<li>Monitoring accident and incident reports and statistics identifying trends and assisting with investigations / debriefs as required. </li>\n</ul><br><b>About you</b><br><br>Essential:<ul>\n<li>You will have a NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent as a minimum.</li>\n<li>The ability to understand complicated and detailed legislation, rules and procedures and interpret them to clients effectively and clearly.</li>\n<li>Good attention to detail -ability to provide accurate advice both verbally and in written reports.</li>\n<li>Good organisational skills - able to prioritise your workload effectively.</li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build good relationships.</li>\n<li>Good ICT skills proficient in use of MS Teams, Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.</li>\n<li>You will be required to travel to sites across Hertfordshire thus applicants must have access to a vehicle and driving licence that is valid in the UK.</li>\n</ul>Desirable:<ul>\n<li>Local Government experience successfully providing health and safety advice and support to a range of clients.</li>\n<li>Good public speaking skills</li>\n<li>Qualified to NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
