About the role
Claverham Day Nursery in Battle East Sussex requires qualified Nursery Assistants to join our friendly team.
We believe in providing a safe, stimulating, and fun environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Our nursery is known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and our commitment to high-quality early years education. The role requires an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or a relevant equivalent qualification.
The successful candidate will:
- be an enthusiastic and excellent Early Years practitioner, who is able to engage children through preparing and participating in a range of play based activities that promote each child’s physical, intellectual and emotional needs.
- work with the supervisor to create an exciting and purposeful learning environment.
- act as a key worker, forming a close, caring relationship with their allocated children and communicating with their parents and carers.
- be flexible and able to work closely with other EYFS team members
- be keen to engage in continuing professional development.

The position is 37 hours per week, 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year. The position is paid on Single Status Grade 3, Point 7 £24,027 per annum.
