About the role
Skylark Federation are looking for a Teaching Assistant and Lunchtime Assistant to join our welcoming and friendly village school at Kingston, Lewes. We have friendly and engaged families, happy children who are keen to do their best and a positive, supportive working environment.
The hours of work are 8.30am until 12.00 noon as a teaching assistant, 12.00 noon until 1.00pm as a lunchtime assistant. This position is for two days a week on a Thursday and Friday. We would like someone that would be available to work in the afternoons on those two days for the moment, on a temporary basis.
The successful candidate will support learning and contribute to a wide range of teaching and learning activities, working alongside the teachers. The successful candidate will be expected to advance pupils learning in a range of ways, including working with individuals and small groups. We will provide you with any relevant training needs.
We are a popular group of schools and we would love to welcome you to our Federation. We are in a lovely setting but an easy commute from Lewes and other areas.
