About the role
The post is for 25 hours per week on a fixed term contract for one year.
The positions will be paid on single status grade 3, point 7, equivalent to £24,027
(pro rata salary of £14,252 per annum, £1187.00 pcm).
The successful candidates will be employed for 25 hours per week over five days (subject to negotiation) We are aiming for a start date of May 2025.
We wish to appoint someone who:
Has experience of supporting children in a classroom environment – ideally with experience of working with individual children, groups and the whole class.
Has strong language and communication skills
Can engage sympathetically with children with SEND
Is committed to helping children to work hard and enjoy school
Will work well in a team and show initiative.

Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
