Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

About the role
Individual Needs Assistant at St Michael’s Church of England Primary School.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children and making a positive impact on their educational journey. To be successful in this role, you should have:
Experience supporting children in a classroom setting (preferred but not essential).
- A strong understanding of child development.
- The ability to build meaningful relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Proficiency in maths and English.
- High expectations for both yourself and the children you support.
- A commitment to the Christian values of the school.
- A positive, professional approach that reflects the values and image of the school.
Although previous school experience is desirable, we welcome applications from all candidates who are eager to learn and grow with us. This is a short term contract until July 2025 up to 15 hours per week, term time only. We welcome applications for those willing to share the role.
This person will work as part of a small, friendly team in this rural village school.
