About the role
Netherfield CEP School is a welcoming and nurturing school at the heart of the community in the small East Sussex village of Netherfield. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and experienced Teaching Assistant for a one-year contract. The post will require the success candidate to work across a range of classes with a wide variety of our wonderful children. The hours of work will be 8.45am to 1.15pm, Monday to Friday.
Candidates will be:
- be talented, dynamic and will challenge and motivate our children to get the very best meaningful outcomes
- provide learning activities for individuals and groups of pupils under the professional direction and supervision of a qualified teacher, including delivering bespoke interventions, differentiating and adapting learning programmes to suit the needs of allocated children.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
