About the role
We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant 3 to work as part of our existing staff team, mainly supporting children in class. This will include working alongside the class teacher in promoting independent learning, whether it is as a whole class, in small groups or as individuals. We would like somebody who is able to model a positive attitude to the children with a good understanding of the wide range of primary curriculum subjects. The working hours will be:
4 days 8:45am to 1:15pm
1 day 8:45am to 3:30pm
MDSA cover included.
We are looking for someone with:
- Good communication skills with children and adults
- The ability to be flexible and to use their own initiative
- Proficiency in basic Maths and English skills
- The ability to use ICT effectively
- A love of learning
- If possible, a relevant Level 3 qualification and/or previous experience of working with primary aged children
