Henley Green primary School wish to appoint a teacher to join our school and lead our two and three year old provision.
The successful candidate will ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children placed in our Little Acorns provision. You will work as part of a team to provide an enabling environment in which all children can play, develop, and learn.
Little Acorns is the foundation for children’s education at Henley Green School and an integral part of our Early Years provision. It is overseen by our Deputy Head and Early Years Lead.
We are looking for someone to take up the post in February/March 2025
Who are we looking for?
Essential Criteria:
Qualified Teacher Status
A sound and robust knowledge of Early Years Foundation stage education
Experience of working with children in an Early Years setting
Demonstrate highly developed skills in communicating with both adults and children
Ability to work with parents/carers/families and outside agencies to ensure partnership working
Awareness of Health and Safety and practical hygiene issues
Desired Criteria:
Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
Basic food hygiene certificate
Knowledge of communication and language interventions
Previous experience of working with two year olds
