We are committed to creating an environment where every child receives the best possible support and care, and all staff are supported to thrive and excel in safe, supported, and nurturing environments.</p> <p>Our Senior leaders have worked on an improvement plan, and if you are ready to embrace this challenge and play a pivotal role in shaping our journey, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p>We look forward to welcoming individuals who share our vision and drive.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>The London Borough of Havering is looking to recruit a Service Manager Principle Family Therapist to contribute to the delivery of an effective children’s social care service as part of a social work team, improving outcomes for children and young people, and manage caseloads dependent upon experience, grade of post and complexity of cases, utilising specialist knowledge for appropriate interventions, needs and risk assessments, care planning and child protection investigations.</p> <p>If successful in your application for the role, you will/will be:</p> <ul>\n<li>Provide high quality and regular clinical supervision to practitioners working within the service in line with the strategic direction and operational delivery for the Starting Well Service </li> <li>Provide skills coaching and training to staff, promoting and supporting highly specialist clinical assessments</li> <li>Work alongside operational teams and ensure that individual Family Therapists performance is monitored effectively through active contribution to the supervisory and appraisal frameworks, with any issues identified are addressed promptly and in line with policies and procedures</li> <li>Promote the participation of Family Therapists in the development of a high quality, accessible, inclusive and responsive services for children, carers, families and partner agencies by advising on necessary service and organisational developments</li> <li>Undertake regular quality assurance and practice developments activities including audits, to enable effective monitoring of the delivery of evidence-based interventions with families that are based on appropriate frameworks</li> <li>Lead a team of Family Therapists effectively, ensuring that assessments and support options are completed in a timely and appropriate manner and are outcome focussed</li> <li>Provide advice and guidance to support the delivery of clinical interventions to children open to services using evidence-based approaches</li> <li>Produce high quality, comprehensive and analytical reports for management and wider audiences as required. </li> </ul> <p>As one of the greenest boroughs in London, resourcefulness is in our nature. About the Role
