An opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Technician to work as a part of the Facilities Management Team at Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, based in the Town Hall.

The ideal candidate will be hard working, self-motivated, enjoys a challenge, has initiative, and excellent customer service skills to maintain good working relationships with multiple stakeholders.
This role has three distinct responsibilities. Firstly, as part of the team responsible for ensuring all statutory compliance tasks are met across operational buildings.
Secondly, this role has the responsibility for the daily running of the Town Hall, including health and safety, postal duties, catering, waste management and security.
Lastly, the team are responsible for all repair work within the Civic Buildings and the wider Property Services Portfolio, undertaking minor repairs in house where possible and organising other works for term contractors.
You will be working on a rotational basis Monday to Friday covering four shifts; 7:30-15:30, 8:00 -16:00; 09:00-17:00; 10:00-18:00; 14:00 – 22:00. On occasion there will be need to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the service.
