About the role
Teacher of History
Required September 2025
This is a permanent post.
We are looking to recruit an exceptional Teacher of History who has strong subject knowledge and who can teach History from Year 7 to Year 11. The ideal candidate will hold a History degree (or similar) and will have energy, drive and great ideas.
You will have the ability to inspire young people, instilling a love of History both as an academic subject and applying it to the world around them. You will be a tireless advocate for your subject.
Our History Department teach Pearson / Ed Excel and cover:
Crime and Punishment
Weimar and Nazi Germany
Superpower Relations
Henry and his ministers
The History Department are members of the Historical Association and run school trips to Belgium and Berlin every year.
