Are you looking for a new and rewarding challenge, are you passionate about promoting people’s independence, then this may be the job for you.
Shared Lives is at the forefront of current thinking in adult social care, promoting person centred care which actively supports and maximises independence and opportunity for gloriously ordinary life experiences by recruiting and supporting carers who offer an ordinary home to adults with care and support needs, enabling the person to share family life and be involved in their local community.
We assess and approve carers who offer people a variety of opportunities and to share in their family life and become involved and thrive in their local community.
Shared Lives Isle of Wight is looking for an enthusiastic and resilient Social Work Assistant who will share our ambition and drive to ensure that people live as full and independent lives as possible.
We are a small, dedicated, inclusive, and creative team, passionate about making a positive difference, establishing a high-quality service which was rated “Good” across all domains in our first CQC (Care Quality Commission) inspection.
This is an exciting opportunity that will see the postholder manage and develop their own caseload of carers which will include, recruitment, assessment, and ongoing support, whilst also having a rewarding career in supporting people looking for Shared Lives arrangements and those in existing arrangements to achieve their dreams and wishes.
