Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

Mark Cross CEA Primary School is a small village school, just to the south of Tunbridge Wells, with a strong sense of community and a friendly, welcoming staff team.
We have a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant (TA3) and Midday Supervisor from January 2025 as follows:
TA3 - Mon-Fri: 9am - 12pm.
MDSA – Mon-Thur: 12pm-12.30pm, Fri 12pm - 1pm.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who can join our Year 5/6 team and would be comfortable to lead teaching maths to a group of pupils. However, we are incredibly fortunate to have talented and flexible staff who are happy and able to support across multiple year groups. As such, we are looking for the right person to join our school and therefore there is flexibility with regards to year group/phase .

We are also advertising for a part-time time INA (Mon-Fri 12.30-3.15pm) and it may be possible to combine these roles. However, please note, the TA3/MDSA is a permanent contract, the INA role is currently fixed term until July 2025.

Mark Cross CEA Primary School is part of the Weald Federation along with Frant, Mayfield and Five Ashes CE Primary Schools.
