The successful candidate will:
- Compassionate and patient, with a good sense of fun.
- Be intuitive and responsive to the needs of pupils with SEND.
- Have an interest in working with children with SEND, particularly those with ASD.
- Demonstrate the ability to provide consistent, calm and nurturing support whilst maintaining clear behavioural boundaries.
- Be able to use initiative and make professional judgements related to pupil learning to ensure pupil dysregulation, stress and anxiety are managed effectively.
- Have bundles of enthusiasm and creativity, with a desire to nurture a love of learning in all our children.
- Be highly organised and forward thinking.
- Be passionate about making learning fun, relevant, enjoyable and challenging.
