The centre offers up to twelve places places for young people with Education, Health and Care Plans ranging in age from 11 to 16.  The young people spend part of their school day, according to need, in mainstream lessons.</p>\n\n<p><br>\nWorking as part of the dedicated school SEND team, ensuring our fantastic young people enjoy best possible outcomes and have a great learning experience, your responsibilities will include:</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Working closely with the SENDCo to ensure our learning and support plans meet the specific needs of each student within the Facility.</li>\n\t<li>Co-ordinating and overseeing the programme of learning for young people within the Facility.</li>\n\t<li>Delivering targeted interventions to children within the Facility.</li>\n\t<li>Liaising with classroom teachers to ensure the young people make the best possible progress.</li>\n\t<li>Supporting young people to make good choices, effectively de-escalating conflict or challenge.</li>\n\t<li>Being the daily point of call for all Facility students’ parents and external professionals.</li>\n\t<li>Manging the the safe and effective day to day running of the Facility.</li>\n\t<li>Line managing staff within the Facility.<br>\n\t </li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Further details from Hanna Stedman, HR Manager.</p>\n\n<p>Closing date: 9.00 am on Monday 3 February 2025<br>\nInterviews will be held shortly after this date.</p>\n\n<p><br>\nWe do not accept CVs. </p>\n\n<p>East Sussex County Council is an authority committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
