Who?
We are looking for a Housing Support Officer to provide administrative support to the Housing Development Team and Housing Policy & Partnerships Team for a 12-month period. The Housing Development Team is responsible for facilitating and delivering affordable housing in the district. The Housing Policy & Partnership Team covers tenant involvement, Refugee Resettlement, housing strategies, policies and much more.
What will you be doing?
- Providing administrative support to both teams
- Processing invoices and payments to creditors for both teams
- Liaising with developers/contractors and local residents to assist the Housing Development Team in the direct delivery of affordable housing
- Liaising with internal & external stakeholders to support the Housing Development Team to facilitate the delivery of affordable housing by Registered Providers and other parties
- Assisting the Housing Policy & Partnerships Team in the support of Refugee Resettlement Programme
What do you need?
- Previous experience of working as an administrator
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to confidently deal with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Good IT skills
- Excellent organisational skills
