We need to proactively manage the investment being made in the borough to deliver a significant amount of new housing and supporting community infrastructure, drive economic growth to encourage local businesses to thrive and create a place in which people are proud to live, work and visit. We benefit from excellent transport links across London and Essex and our offices, based in Ilford, are only 9 minutes from Stratford and 18 minutes from Liverpool Street, in the heart of the city.
The team have worked to transform the service over the last four years to meet the challenges faced by unprecedented growth in the borough and were named Local Authority Planning Team of the Year in the National Planning Awards 2020, The Planning Team of the Year (Public Sector) in the RTPI London Awards for Planning Excellence 2021 and won Best Council Service Team at The Municipal Journal (The MJ) Awards in 2022.
About the Opportunity
The London Borough of Redbridge is looking for two enthusiastic and qualified graduate planners to join its busy Development Management team. The intention is to appoint at both Graduate and Planner level. This exciting career grade role offers a planning graduate the opportunity to progress in their career up to a senior planner level. A Planning Degree is a minimum requirement for this role.

Our offices are in Ilford Town Centre, although we operate a hybrid working model with a mix of office and home working with an expectation of a minimum 2 days in the Office.
