About the role
Forest Row Primary School, located in the heart of Forest Row, East Sussex, is looking for enthusiastic Bank Staff Nursery Assistant to join our friendly and passionate team!
As a Bank Staff member of staff, you will have the blend and convenience of Bank/Agency work with the benefits of being an employee giving you the flexibility to work when you want.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an enthusiastic and skilled Early Years practitioner, able to engage children through a variety of play-based activities that support their physical, intellectual, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with the Class Teacher to create an exciting and purposeful learning environment.
- Act as a key worker, forming close, caring relationships with allocated children and maintaining open communication with parents and carers.
- Be flexible, working closely with other EYFS team members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
- Be committed to professional development and keen to engage in ongoing training.

Permanent contract
0-32 hours a week. Our standard day 8.30 – 3.45 as bank staff you may be asked to cover all day or part of a day.

The role requires an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or a relevant equivalent qualification.

Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
