Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in local government and more specifically within Housing Services? If so, we are looking for a Business Manager to work closely with our Head of Housing and wider housing teams to assist in meeting excellent service delivery in a public facing operational environment.
To thrive in this role, it is helpful but not necessary to have experience in Housing Services or a local authority. It is a role that is varied and fast paced. You will have excellent partnership and people skills, be able to project manage and drive change, sustain strong governance arrangements and have a flair for business development.
What we Offer
You will be employed by Tandridge District Council a financially stable and forward-looking authority, committed to staff development, reward and progression. Joining Tandridge District Council has many other advantages, for example flexible working, a friendly working environment, an excellent pension scheme, payment of a relevant professional subscription and access to a discounted health scheme.
The council offices are based in the vibrant small town of Oxted at the foot of the North Downs, close to Oxted Station and with on-site parking. And there are excellent schools here, good transport links with access to London, Gatwick and the south coast, and safe, cohesive communities.

We welcome applications from all sectors of our community, including BAME, LGBTQ+ and all groups protected under the Equality Act.
Tandridge is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff to share this commitment.
