This is a customer facing role providing homelessness advice to our clients with a strong emphasis on prevention. Preferably you will have experience in homelessness with a working knowledge of Part VI and VII of the Housing Act 1996 and the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Most importantly you will have experience in a customer service environment and an understanding of the social issues that surround homelessness. The ability to build upon and establish new relationships with our partner agencies is a strong advantage for this role.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Working with some of the most vulnerable people at a difficult time in their lives this role has a positive impact on solving problems and making a difference, that’s what makes it so rewarding.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Applicants must have:-</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Knowledge of part VI and part VII of the Housing Act 1996</p>\n<p>Knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017</p>\n<p>Experience of working in a customer service environment</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role will require a basic Disclosure and Barring Service check (known as a DBS check).
