We care about the best outcomes for local people, through our public services.</strong> </span></p><p><span>We are proud of our world-famous thriving city with its rich culture, affordable housing, stunning waterfront and our beautiful green spaces – there’s really something for everyone! </span></p><p><span><strong>The role:</strong> </span></p><ul>\n<li>This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly expanded Prevention Team working with young people, parents, and carers in school settings as part of a multi-disciplinary team to improve young people’s engagement with education, improve attendance and support young people on their education journey</li>\n<li>As a Targeted Services Officer, your role will be to support young people to improve their attendance in school as well as improving their engagement in their education placement. The team works collaboratively with stakeholders including schools, safeguarding teams, health care providers, CAMHS and the Police to achieve the best outcomes for children in education settings</li>\n<li>The role of Targeted Services Officer provides the opportunity to develop creative, strengths-based approaches to working with children and families. The successful candidate will receive regular supervision and support to enhance skills, knowledge and experience of working with additional support needs in their education settings</li>\n<li>As a Targeted Services Officer, you will be based within the school although you will also be expected to support young people and their families within the community. You will also be able to work from home at times where the demands of the duties allow.
