Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 + SEND Allowance £2,679 - £5,825 (pro rata)
Hours: 19.5 hours per week (0.6 Fte) working across 3 days.
Contract type: Part-time/Permanent
Reporting to: Head Teacher
Pashley Down Infant School is a wonderfully unique three form infant school. We are situated at the foot of the South Downs in Old Town, Eastbourne. The school benefits from amazing outdoor grounds and our happy confident children enjoy rich learning opportunities in class and on our mini-farm, woodlands and allotments. We are grateful to have forward-thinking staff, parents and governors.
We are looking for a SENCO to join our leadership team from September 2025. This is a very rare opportunity to join our experienced, supportive, happy team.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, organised, confident leader with a passion for inclusion. They will be dedicated to making a difference. They will enjoy a challenge and be able to problem solve and think of new ways of working in an ever changing landscape. The candidate will be skilled when working with children, parents and staff, relentlessly focused on our shared goal of inclusion and equity for all children. They will be joining our experienced and dynamic team, committed to ensuring that, in partnership with parents, young children have the best possible start in life.
