About the role
We are excited to offer a wonderful opportunity to become part of our dedicated Bluebell family as an Individual Needs Assistant (INA) at Chailey St Peters.
As an INA, you will provide one-to-one support to an individual child and ensure a safe, nurturing environment during lunchtime, both indoors and outdoors. This dynamic role offers variety each day, and you'll be an integral part of our school community.
Key Details:
- Hours: 5 mornings a week, from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm or 9:15 am – 1:00 pm.
- Contract: Fixed-term until July 2025, with potential for extension.
- Salary: Term-time, pro-rated.

The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children and making a positive impact on their educational journey. To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience supporting children in a classroom setting (preferred but not essential).
- A strong understanding of child development.
- The ability to build meaningful relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Proficiency in maths and English.
- High expectations for both yourself and the children you support.
- A commitment to the Christian values of the school.
- A positive, professional approach that reflects the values and image of the school.
