About the role
Wivelsfield Primary School and Nursery has a vacancy for a SEN Teaching Assistant for 2 days a week- Monday & Friday, approximately 11 hours/week, to start as soon as possible. Ideally you will work 8.40am - 3.15pm but we can be flexible.
There will be the possibility of additional hours on an ad-hoc basis.
Situated in the heart of Wivelsfield Green, near both Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill, the school is single form entry. It benefits from spacious modern premises, with extensive grounds, and is a very popular, oversubscribed school. We pride ourselves on being friendly and welcoming with a strong ‘community ethos'.
You will work as part of the SEN team, initially with a child in EYFS with Down's Syndrome with the potential of supporting other individuals across KS1 & KS2.
