We want to attract high quality jobs to Rugby ensuring that our residents have the skills to take advantage of these opportunities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In this role you’ll position and promote Rugby Borough as a great place to do business, visit and live, supporting the Borough’s economic development aspirations and the regeneration of Rugby Town Centre.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To achieve this, you’ll be –</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engaging with local businesses to understand and signpost their needs to the Council or other relevant stakeholders</li>\n<li>Working in partnership with a range of organisations, developers, agents and operators to identify, foster, secure and maintain inward investors in Rugby</li>\n<li>Implementing, monitoring and reviewing our Economic Strategy</li>\n<li>Researching sites and properties available for existing business expansion</li>\n<li>Responding to new business inward investment enquiries to retain and attract business investment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About you</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>To be successful in this role you’ll need experience working in Economic Development, Business Support, Inward Investment or a related field and be able to demonstrate an understanding of place promotion and what is required to attract new investment into an area.
