We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Alternative Provision Manager to oversee our Alternative Provision (AP) at Uckfield College. This vital role supports students who require a temporary alternative educational pathway, helping them reintegrate fully into their education, and progress towards further education, training, or employment.
The Alternative Provision Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the AP provision for students in Years 7-11. They will work closely with leadership and pastoral and SEND teams, and external agencies, to develop and implement tailored support plans that address both the academic and pastoral needs of students. Ensuring that each student receives the necessary guidance and support, the manager will play a crucial role in fostering their personal and educational development.
This role requires an individual with strong leadership and communication skills who can create a positive and inclusive learning environment. We are keen to recruit someone with significant experience in leading similar provision in a similar role. By promoting the ethos of the College, the Alternative Provision Manager will help students build confidence, develop resilience, and achieve their full potential.
