Housing Partnerships Manager
£65,109-£80,241 per annum
THE ROLE
We are recruiting to the role of Housing Partnerships Manager, who will lead the Council's management of our two PFI contracts and other external management and engagement arrangements. We are looking for a dynamic leader with experience in managing large scale contracts and building and managing successful relationships with providers, with particular expertise in housing.
Newham has two PFI contracts, in Canning Town and Forest Gate, providing housing services to 2500 households. The Housing Partnerships Manager, managing the Housing Partnerships team (of three officers) is responsible for liaison with PFI contractors, oversight of expenditure and investment, performance monitoring across a range of services including contractual KPIs and Council policy. The Housing Partnerships team also liaise with Newham colleagues from other services to provide a joined-up approach to service delivery, including expertise from technical teams.
ABOUT YOU
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:
- a thorough understanding of commissioning, contract management, project management and improvement processes and principles in the context of local authority / affordable housing
- experience of working in partnership with multiple stakeholders and experience of engagement and co-production with service users;
- excellent analytical, communication, report writing and presentation skills.
To succeed in this role, you will also have effective project management skills and will be able to work well under pressure across a range of priorities, and to tight deadlines.
