You will help determine if requests for service are actionable and resolve issues where possible within the appropriate legislative framework or arrange for further action to be taken and make recommendations concerning the granting, renewal, suspension and revocation of licences/permits to the Head of Environmental Health and Licensing, and to issue licences/permits. In addition, you will be responsible for an individual caseload in relation to a specific technical specialised area of work providing information and answering queries appropriately within legislative framework.</p>\n<p><strong>About you:</strong></p>\n<p>To succeed as Environmental Health & Licensing Assistant you will have proven ability to communicate with a range of people from different backgrounds, including ethnic, social and professional, both verbally and in writing. You will have experience working with a diverse group of people, preferably in a customer facing and team environment. You will be a competent IT user and have the ability to use and develop different packages and systems. About the role:
