About the role
The Governors of The Weald Federation are seeking to appoint a Teaching Head of School at Mark Cross CEA Primary School from 21st April 2025 (this may be negotiable for the right person).
The appointment is on a full-time, permanent basis 0.2 teaching 0.8 Leadership.
We are looking for a caring, highly motivated teacher/leader keen to take the next steps into leadership. The successful candidate will be someone who:
- Is a team player and appreciates the value of collaboration
- Has high expectations of themselves and others
- Supports the Christian ethos and values of our Federation
- Ensures the Federation and school vision is clearly articulated, shared and understood by all
- Is highly organised and has strong time management skills
- Is flexible and adaptable
- Has strong IT and communication skills
- Is a highly effective teacher with an excellent understanding of what good quality teaching ‘looks like’
- Motivates and works effectively with others to create a shared culture and positive climate
- Together with the Executive Headteacher, assists with the leadership and management of the staff within the school alongside other operational responsibilities
