What You’ll Be Doing
We are seeking an enthusiastic Fire Safety Advisor to join the Property Management division within Camden Council. You will ensure fire safety, inspections, management, and maintenance are carried out in accordance Camden’s fire safety and fire management arrangements policy in conjunction with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and other current and relevant fire safety legislation. You will promote fire safety best practices and innovation amongst managers across the Council.
All About You
This role requires a confident and proactive individual as you will be in regular communication with various internal and external stakeholders, such as residents, Council committee members, staff, senior managers, fire safety contract managers. You will need to be suitably qualified in fire safety and/ or be able to demonstrate experience in inspecting and advising on higher risk, general needs, residential sleeping accommodation.
You will need to be flexible and be able to adjust to the fluctuating demands and pressures, whilst providing a consistent service. You will be required to work at the office as required, as well as on-site and at home.
