role</h2><p>Assistant Head of Performing Arts with Music Specialism  – Required Full Time from April 2025 Part Time considered</p><p><br></p><p>We require an Assistant Head of Department for Performing Arts with a Music Specialism to add to our team in our expanding college.  You will join an enthusiastic and happy team of teaching staff, all with a passion for young people and for Performing Arts too.  You will be supported in your role, whatever stage of your career you are, the most important thing we are looking for is an excellent teacher with a commitment to young people and a desire to develop themselves and others.</p><p>Can you offer the following to the students and teachers of Hailsham Community College Academy Trust:</p><ul>\n<li>To assist the leadership and management of the Performing Arts department towards outstanding progress and attainment</li>\n<li>To support the implementation of the curriculum across the subject areas of Dance, Drama and Music.</li>\n<li>To assist the Head of Department in monitoring, reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of the curriculum in Music, Dance and Drama to ensure all staff understand and deliver upon the curriculum intent leading to great impact</li>\n<li>To maintain high presence around the Academy to ensure the highest standards of behaviour are upheld</li>\n<li>Actively support staff and students with welfare and well-being</li>\n<li>Provide professional challenge towards raising achievement and ensuring high standards</li>\n<li>Model outstanding practice in terms of classroom
