You will be responsible for ensuring that the educational and developmental progress of children and young people (0-25), who are deaf or have hearing loss is met in line with the Hertfordshire Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Strategy and HCC strategic objectives.<br><br>You'll be working with Health professionals and parents/carers from the point of diagnosis to support effective use of listening technology, language development and social emotional wellbeing. You will provide effective high-quality advice and support to children, young people, their families, and settings including the development, delivery and evaluation of training packages. You'll be responsible for your own caseload, organising visits and writing reports. Each day is different and there will be many opportunities to work collaboratively with other agencies.<br><br><b>About you</b><br><br>We would like to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated QToD to join our friendly, experienced team supporting deaf babies, children and young people in Hertfordshire.<br><br>The Deaf and Hearing Support Service welcome applications from candidates from diverse backgrounds.
