About Us:
Our FAST Team is part of the Front door to Children’s Services we screen referrals that are made for Early Help and look at what the support needs are of the families that get referred
Sefton is committed to supporting Families who need help and support. The Fast Team is the first point of contact to access Early Help in Sefton. The team work closely with the CHAT team and together they form the Front Door to Children’s Social Care.
ROLE
As a part of this role, you will be speaking to Families and to people that support them, to look at how the Early Help offer for Sefton can help them. You will also be screening referrals from the Police as to risk and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Accountability: Be accountable for the day-to-day running of your workload to complete within timescales
Safeguarding: Understand the Level of Needs for work with our families and to recognise when the risk to children exceeds Early Help support
Performance Targets: Ensure the key performance targets as they apply to the team, the service, and the Council are met.
Collaboration: Carry out this role in a collaborative manner that promotes equality of opportunity and joint working with other teams across the Council and partners, while challenging and supporting the team to ensure timely and suitable outcomes for children, young people, and their families. Embed the Council’s values into the work of the team and peers.
