About the role
Are you looking for a role which will be rewarding, exciting, and where no two days are the same?
Framfield CEP School (part of the St Thomas á Becket Church of England Federation) a happy and successful Church of England Primary School in Framfield (near Uckfield), East Sussex is looking for a new member of support staff to carry out this new and important role within our small busy rural school. We are looking for the successful applicant to commence employment as soon as possible. The contract is child linked and will be offered on a rolling fixed term contract, grant dependent.
INA (Individual Needs Assistant)
SS3, point 7 £24,027 PA, pro rata, total hours a week 15.75.
Monday & Wednesdays weekly (with ½ hour lunchbreak) 8.45-12.30pm and 1.00pm-3.15pm = 6 hours a day.
Friday morning and lunchtime weekly, 8.45-12.30pm, 3.75 hours.
Total weekly hours = 15.75. Term Time Only.
We are looking for a gifted INA to join our school team to work with one of our KS1 pupils. Alongside all our support staff you should have a passion for learning, be highly motivated, work well as part of a small team and be committed to engaging with pupils in a positive, calm and caring way. You will be working alongside and supporting the class teacher and SENDCO to ensure a safe, stimulating and caring environment for the pupil you are supporting. You will have high expectations of the student within your care, manage behaviour effectively and ensure a productive and safe learning environment.
You will be patient, empathetic and with a want to support vulnerable children.

Experience of working with pupils with SEND would be beneficial.
