We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Technical Officer to join our Environmental Health Residential Team.
The primary purpose of this role will be to bring long term and problematic vacant private sector properties back into use. As part of this role, you will be involved both reactive and proactive enforcement of housing standards.
As part of the Residential Team, you will be given the opportunity to contribute to other areas of work.

This role is likely to be on a Flexible Contract as defined by our Agile Working Policy. The minimum frequency for in-office attendance will be two or three times per week, however it could be more frequent based on the demands of the service. We therefore expect candidates to reside within a commutable distance from Number One Market Street in Nelson, Lancashire.
