About the role:
Horsham District Council is looking for a Collections Assistant to join our small team of staff and volunteers working at the museum. You will be a key contributor to the museum’s rationalisation project to update and document all artefacts in our collection and storage.
As Collections Assistant you will be working with our varied collection from books and manuscripts to historic artefacts to ensure that all records and documentation is up to date and accurate, as well as making sure that they are stored safely to preserve the collection for future generations.
About you:
To succeed as Collections Assistant, you will need to be passionate about museums and have an eye for details and a can-do attitude. You should be excited about the heritage sector and work well both independently and as part of a team.
