East Sussex Library and Information Service prides itself on delivering high quality customer service to the residents of East Sussex through its network of 17 libraries and online offer. We are looking for someone who will ensure our libraries are managed efficiently and effectively with customer service at the heart of service delivery.

The postholder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service. You will be encouraged to develop in the role and, therefore, you will need to be eager to learn all elements of the role.

With this role there are opportunities for home working. However, there is an expectation that you are highly visible and will regularly work from the library buildings.

To apply for this role please follow the ‘Apply Now’ button above. When completing your application be sure to address how you meet all the criteria in the person specification, drawing on any relevant work/life experience, education or personal interests.

Interviews will take place in-person at County Hall, Lewes, East Sussex, BN1 7UE. Interviews will be taking week commencing 21 April 2025.   If you are unavailable on these dates let us know and we may be able to schedule an alternative date to interview you.
