Investigations and Compliance Specialist in handling Corporate and Social care Complaints and Members enquiries - Salary - £36,567 - £39,951 per annum - 12 Months Fixed Term
We are looking to recruit on a 12 month temporary contract for a Specialist and Compliance officer. The candidate will have experience in providing excellent customer services and have knowledge of complaints handling. Experience working in a local Government setting or knowledge of the Ombudsman, as well as understanding policies and processes is preferred but not essential. The individual will need to have the ability to learn quickly, particularly around service areas such as, but not limited to Housing and Social Care. The candidate must have good ICT skills and the ability to work well as a team and on their own merit, as well as the ability to juggle caseload and priorities. The officer will act as an example of excellent customer service and show curiosity to develop the complaints service as well as input into other services across the Council. The role will also include managing members enquiries and Ombudsman cases, attendance to the office in Romford a minimum of one day a week may be required with this role.
