An exciting opportunity has arisen within our school-based Specialist Education and Training Support Service (SEaTSS).
SEaTSS is a large multi-disciplinary Specialist Advisory Teacher team of over 100 staff members in 5 teams consisting of 5 Deputy Heads, 5 Senior Teachers and a Head of Service supported by a team of approximately 70 Advisory Specialist Teachers, 14 HTLA’s and 5 technicians.
We are looking to appoint a highly self-motivated individual to join our Cognition & Learning team for three days a week.
The post holder will benefit from expertise and experience in working with pupils who have experience in supporting or creating a personalised curriculum for pupils with learning needs in mainstream settings. We are looking for an experienced teacher who has taught across different phases of education, supporting pupils in a variety of school contexts. Advisory Teachers need to be well-versed in best practice strategies and supports to improve the inclusion of learners with SEND, and able to advise and model these strategies to school staff.
If you have been a SENCO, Specialist Teacher or SEND Teacher and have experience in delivering training and interventions, or similar experience, then this may be the opportunity for you. We are looking for people who can provide a positive, open and creative problem-solving approach to add to our already extensive skill base. In return, we can offer you wide ranging training and a supportive ethos which we feel will develop your professional knowledge.
No two days will ever be the same in SEaTSS so if you are looking for a new challenge come and join us!
Closing date for applications will be midnight Sunday 27th April 2025
Interviews will be held on Friday 3rd May 2025
Please note: references will be sought of shortlisted candidates prior to interview once attendance has been confirmed.
