The Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team. You will work closely with a team of professionals to provide personalised, tailored learning experiences for children with a variety of needs, including physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities. You will help create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages the development of essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of each child.
• Support students in achieving their educational, social, and emotional goals.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, teaching assistants, and parents to provide holistic support.
• Adapt teaching methods and resources to suit different learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor progress and regularly review individual learning plans to ensure continuous development.
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and respectful classroom environment.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

• Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Has experience working with children with severe and complex needs, ideally in a special education setting.
• Is patient, empathetic, and committed to providing the best possible support for children with diverse needs.
• Has strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and outside agencies.
• Is flexible, creative, and able to adapt teaching methods to support individual learning needs.
• Holds a passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their lives.
